Comunique 3 After Stage 3 Men

There was confusion and resultant course cutting by
some riders in the lead group of the Pro/1/2 Field.
This problem was a function of inappropriate course setup.
The jury has determined to take the following action:

1. No prizes were issued for Stage 3.

2. The promoter will deliver a check for all of the men's prize money
for Stage 3 to the Chief Referee payable to " USA Cycling Junior
Development Fund."

3. No time bonuses were awarded for the finish of Stage 3.

4. No sprint points were awarded for the finish of Stage 3.

5. No NRC points were awarded for Stage 3.

6. Placing in this stage will not be used as a tie breaker.
All riders were given their time with everyone in the
first group given the same time. Time will count toward GC.
The forty-seven riders were listed in bib number order one
place ahead of the second group to finish.

7. All KOM and intermediate sprint points/bonuses earned on the
road in Stage 3 were awarded and counted. All DNF riders and
time cut riders were eliminated. All penalties for
occurrences on the road were assessed.
The authority for this action is Rule 1I4a.

Reminder: Teams feeding should advance to Com 1 in the service lane and pull to the right when feeding
is completed. Teams should not be feeding while in the service lane other than when just behind Com 1.
